I wanna be free but I can't,
Too many limitations subdue me,
Making moves, yet diminished result,
I am in a cocoon, longing to break free.
Work in progress, that's what I am,
Feeling hopeless, but I need to stay focused,
I am a butterfly with wings to unfold,
But when do I fly, when am I noticed?
Bound by doubts and uncertainties,
I yearn to escape this confining space,
To spread my wings, to touch the skies,
And bask in the sunlight's warm embrace.
The cocoon I dwell in is my comfort zone,
But growth requires me to step outside,
To face the winds and brave the unknown,
For there, in challenges, I'll truly reside.
Embracing change, I'll shed old skin,
Transforming struggles into strength,
With every step, I'll find my rhythm,
Carving a path of remarkable length.
Though fear may flutter in my soul,
I'll let courage be my guiding light,
And as I soar to my destined goal,
I'll emerge from the cocoon, shining bright.
No longer confined, I'll embrace the air,
As a butterfly, spreading my wings wide,
In the journey of life, I'll find my flair,
And dance with the winds, side by side.
For now, the cocoon has served its role,
A sanctuary where transformation lies,
But as I break free and seek my goal,
I'll paint the skies with colorful sighs.
So let me be free, for the time is now,
To explore the world, to learn, to grow,
And as I take flight, I'll humbly vow,
To savor each moment, to bloom and glow.
